NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS

MUNICIPALITY OF MARKSTAY-WARREN

NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Municipality of Markstay-Warren that nominations may be made by completing and filing, in the office of the Clerk, nomination papers on the prescribed form, for the following offices.

Mayor - One (1) to be elected

Councillor - Four (4) to be elected

Nominations, on the prescribed form, must be signed by the candidate and filed
only in person or by an agent at the Municipal Office located at 21 Main St. S.,
Markstay starting January 4th, 2010 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
(Monday to Friday) - closed between 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS ACT IS PRESENTLY BEING REVIEWED AND PROPOSED AMENDMENTS WILL IMPACT THE
ELECTION PROCESS.

VOTING DAY date is one of the proposed amendments.
