IMMEDIATELY:  The Municipality of Markstay-Warren Declares and Immediate Fire Ban

Effective immediately, Deputy Chief Vicent Whynott has declared a "Fire Ban" on all open fires and burning (including incinerators, yearly permits and cooking and warmth) due to the extreme dry conditions.
No Fire permits will be issued during this fire ban.
This "Fire Ban" will remain in effect until further notice.


Someone reported a bear in the Village of Markstay on Rollande Street.  The person who reported the bear assumes that it is quite large as both his garbage cans where taken away and cannot find them.  IN AN IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY - CONTACT THE OPP (9-1-1)
