Tipping Fees

Tipping fees for construction debris and "untagged" refrigerator units are in place and are enforced. Prior to dumping, it is the resident's responsibility to obtain a tipping fee receipt from the Municipal Office during regular business hours.

Tipping fee permits are also available at the following locations:

Markstay-Warren Public Library - Warren Branch - 39 Lafontaine Street

By-law 2005-09 amended to include that construction materials brought in at the landfill site in a pick-up truck equivalent to two cubic yards or two large garbage bags be disposed free of charge.

Tipping Fees for the following:
NON-HAZARDOUS CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION MATERIAL
Building materials and rubble resulting from construction, remodelling, repair and demolition operations such as but not limited to, asphalt, shingles, buil-up roofing, non-combustible insulation, wall and floor sections, siding, floor and ceiling tiles, glass, vinyl siding, electrical wiring, cement and concrete are subject to tipping fees depending on the size of the load. 
Pick-Up Load   $25
Truck Load   $50
Five Ton Truck Load  $75
Tandem Dump Truck Load  $100
Tri-axle Dum Truck Load $135


Discarded Tires:
Unlimited tires per category at one time will be accepted from residential households within the municipality as detailed under Schedule B of by-law 2009-42. The three (3) acceptable categories of tires are as follows: Passager Tires/Light Truck Tires; Medium Truck Tires; Off Road Tires. All tires must be clean of debris and "off the rim" in order to be accepted at the landfill site for disposal and recycling.
